The difference between a Wiki and a KnowledgeBase is that a Wiki is updated by a community, on the front-end, where a KB is updated by a knowledge source only from the back-end. So is this really Yada KB? 🙂

I was thinking I could create a custom post type that would accept wiki contributions, moderate and vet them like comments or other post types, and then copy/paste contributed text into a front-end populated by Yada Wiki. But that still relies on someone on the back-end. Compare this to MediaWiki or any other Wiki where post-submission moderation is prudent, but when the community both contributes and moderates, then the burden is relieved from the site admin.

So where does Yada Wiki fit with this? Or stated another way : I want my registered members to be able to create new wiki pages and update what’s there. I’m I correct that Yada Wiki is not a good match here?

Thanks!

(BTW, saw the intro videos, expected the second to be more polished than first, and it was. Was hoping for a different application example rather than a duplication of the Chess Wiki, but it was OK as-is. Thanks for that too.)
