HTTP error 500 after moving to cPanel hosting

Hullo,

First off, I’m going to assume the version I’m using is up-to-date as 4.7.3, but I can’t check to make sure (or if I can, I’m not sure how).

I moved everything from the WordPress hosting for GoDaddy over to the cPanel via FileZilla. Everything went over fine and dandy, except, I noticed, for the wp-includes folder. It was saying it was all transferring, but the folder wasn’t ever showing up, no matter how hard I looked for it.

GoDaddy support was the one that honed in on that problem, but no matter what we did the folder would not move where it was supposed to. I finally managed to get the folder in there with all the files (huzzah!)…and the website still does nothing.

The support told me he was 98% sure the wp-includes folder was the problem, and if I managed to get it in and still nothing worked, it was a WordPress issue.

– I renamed .htaccess to see if it was the problem. It wasn’t.
– I broke all plugins/deleted them to see if they were the problem. Nope.
– I reuploaded everything twice to see if that would do anything. It didn’t.
– I edited wp-config DBHost to ‘localhost’ from the original as mentioned. Nothing.

I know I was using the Asteroid theme, but that’s all I can come up with. No clue what to do anymore.
