Hi Marco,
No need to apologize, we appreciate all feedback - positive or negative - as it helps us to understand any grievances or issues users have with the plugin so that we can address them.
I'd like to respond to a few of your points though if that's OK;
- You can display as many pages or groups as you like. Simply add the ID of the page or group to the shortcode. Eg:
[custom-facebook-feed id=smashballoon]
[custom-facebook-feed id=marcospage]
[custom-facebook-feed id=woohoo]
- Pagination is something we've been working on for a while and will be added in the next major update. Due to the way the plugin is built it has provided some technical challenges, but this has been requested by a lot of users and so we have taken this on board and will be adding it soon.
- Layouts can be achieved using CSS. If you need to achieve a certain layout then we are always happy to help. We are always happy to go above and beyond for our users to help them achieve any customizations they need.
- You are correct that the free version doesn't show images or comments. These are additional features we built into the Pro version. We've done our best to strike a balance between the features included for free and those which we feel justify an upgrade.
- We include a banner to promote the Pro version at the bottom of each settings page for the plugin. We don't display this anywhere else in the admin section or on your site. We don't display any popups or notices, just that one single banner. I don't feel like this is unreasonable.
Again, I appreciate your feedback but I'm sorry to see that the points you listed caused you to feel like the plugin deserved a negative review. We work very hard to maintain and support this plugin and are very up front in our plugin description about what this plugin can and can't do. Every time we receive a negative review like this which focuses on the fact that some additional feature aren't included for free then it's quite disheartening. If we were to add all of those features into the free version and do away with the Pro version then we'd then have to charge for support for the free version - which would cause all sorts of other complaints and issues. We felt that providing a free version with basic functionality and free support was the best approach, and then offering a Pro version with some additional features for those who needed them allowed us to keep the majority of people happy.
